Sweatshop Running Community - March 2014

This photo is from March 2014 when Sweatshop Running Community at Xscape Castleford was booming.

Running evenings were great as you got to see so many people you knew, race days were something special as everyone wanted all runners to do well and supported until the last runners got back in, social nights out were legendary and lots of fun.

Many of these runners have continued running since Sweatshop closed its shop at Xscape, and lots of new adventures and fun times have been had at new clubs, communities, parkruns, and running groups since then.

It's always nice to look back on the past and to celebrate the good times we had, the great people we used to see more frequently, and to look back with happiness at the times we had as a running community.
