Leaving work after nearly 12 years

Leaving work after nearly 12 years

This week is my last week working for my current organisation. 11 1/2 years ago I started with the NHS Information Centre, which became the Health and Social Care Information Centre, which became NHS Digital, which recently merged into NHS England. They say the only constant ever is change!

Looking back, I have learnt a heck of a lot from many colleagues and other stakeholders in this time and have had the opportunity and privilege to work alongside on major national programmes, data collections and data sets. In this time I have seen how much can be delivered by so few for the benefit of the many. I have seen how different people work, manage, enable, encourage and support. I have also seen how I react to all these approaches too!

All of this has been very useful for me as I work out what direction I would like to do next, developing my own personal style, areas that I want to explore further learning into, and to be able to build on my experiences within the NHS in this time.

For those who I have worked with over these years, I hope our paths cross once again in the future, and thank you for the time we've spent working with each other or around each other in our time within the organisation. Please feel free to add any endorsements you feel appropriate!

Here's to many fresh and exciting adventures in the years ahead.
